The track width gauge reliably determines the difference in track width between the front and rear axles. This allows the SetupWizzard’s track measurement modules to be adjusted precisely to the specific vehicle geometry – for a precise, individually tailored setup.

Especially on vehicles with greatly differing track widths or significant changes caused by the camber setting, the track width gauge enables quick and reliable adjustment – for efficient workflows even with complex vehicle configurations.

Details track width gauge

The track width gauge is used to align analogue toe measurement modules and to reliably determine the track width difference. The telescopic design, secured via clamping latches, allows flexible adjustment to a wide range of vehicle geometries, while the reference end and sliding measuring carriage ensure precise handling. Thanks to the 1:2 scale, readings can be taken clearly and accurately.

Suitable for use on both the front and rear axle, the track width gauge is included as standard in the scope of delivery of the BaseLine and ProLine systems – for a measurement setup that is ready to use immediately, with no additional purchases required.

Easy to use Track gauge ruler

Prepare the ruler

Set the track gauge to a vehicle width that is slightly shorter than the widest point of the vehicle – for a precise starting position.

Measure the first axis

Secure the fixed reference end to one setup wheel and hook the measuring carriage onto the setup wheel opposite. Read off the scale value and note it down.

Measure second axis

Secure the set length with the clamping fasteners. Attach the ruler to the second vehicle axle and read off the new scale value.

Adjust track measurement modules

Calculate the difference between both measured values and set the corresponding value directly on the track measurement modules – no additional conversion is required, for a quick and error-free adjustment.

The laser projects a laser cross onto the measuring platform. The platform is then simply positioned centrally beneath this laser cross – intuitive and without any additional effort.

Yes – for positioning precisely matched to your vehicle: Before first use, the positioning laser is adjusted to the vehicle camber and the position of the ball roller. This ensures it reliably indicates the correct position of the measuring platform.

Yes – for flexible use across the entire fleet: when changing vehicles, the positioning laser setting is simply adjusted to the respective vehicle.
